Leading the way for planning and innovation

At British Engineering Services, we have undoubtedly gone from strength to strength since forming as an independent company just three short years ago.  We’re proud to have stayed 100% focused on our mission of helping make Britain a safer place as we’ve worked to established ourselves as the brilliant, standalone business we are today. And we’re delighted to be working with so many companies that take risk as seriously as we do.

It’s even better when we’re recognised externally for the industry leading things we’re doing to not only shape our business, but the Testing, Certification and Inspections industry as a whole.  So, it’s no surprise that we were absolutely delighted to close 2018 as one of three finalists for an ‘Innovation and Planning’ Award for our forward-thinking approach to getting the job done right for our customers.  

‘The Forum’ is focused on customer operations and works closely with businesses, including some of the biggest and most influential names in the UK, to share best practise and help make sure they’re working to the best possible standards for their customers.  And even better, every year a handful of businesses are singled out by ‘The Forum’ for the huge strides they’re making as an organisation.  At British Engineering Services, we’ve already made it the final stages ahead of the 2019 awards ceremony.

“It’s fantastic to be finalists for one of The Forum’s prestigious awards.  The progress we have made with our approach to customer planning over the last couple of years is absolutely vital to our business.  It’s great that a body not exclusively associated with our industry can see the obvious value in this.  As with any progress we make in moving our industry forward, we absolutely wouldn’t be in this position if it wasn’t for our fantastic people,” said Paul Hirst, MD of Inspections.

Our customers and their safety are always at the heart of everything we do at British Engineering Services and our streamlined approach to planning has helped truly underpin this.  If they’re happy and safe, we’re happy and making it to the final stages for this award is simply the cherry on the top!
