Engineer Surveyor of the year is one of the most prestigious titles to be awarded in the world of Engineering Inspections in the UK. The accolade, which is presented annually by the Bureau of Engineer Surveyors, recognises the hard work and dedication of people in this profession and reinforces the importance of the Engineer Surveyor role.
Since forming as British Engineering Services less than three years ago, we’re delighted to have had people from our company receive this title every year. And 2018/19 is set to be no different with the winner recently announced as our very own Andy Forsyth. Andy has almost 30 years continuous service and his lengthy experience and fantastic attitude make him both the perfect person to hold this award for the next twelve months and an asset to our business. Andy will attend a lunch in London next month where he will be joined by Andy Kidd, our very own Chief Engineer, and will be officially presented with the award.
Andy follows Peter Cairns, and before him Gary Chapple, as the three British Engineering Services Engineer Surveyors to have held this title in recent years. “We are delighted that another of our fantastic Engineer Surveyors has won this award for 2018/19. Andy is a really great member of our team and has helped make us the company we are today. We’re extremely proud of Andy and our previous winners who are a true reflection of our fantastic team,” said Stewart Kay, Group CEO.
