Earlier this year we were pleased to donate a number of Lenovo tablets to a Manchester school just up the road from our head office. We handed the tablets over to Abraham Moss Community School in September, just in time for the start of the new term. The children and teachers were delighted to kick start the academic year with some new IT equipment to help them along the way.
The tablets, previously used by some of our Engineer Surveyors, were replaced with a different model at the end of last year leaving the now decommissioned equipment available for the students. They were gratefully received by the school and we are delighted to see that they’ve already been put to good use!
“We recently received a very nice surprise in the form of an offer of a number of Windows-based tablets from British Engineering Services. We accepted the offer and were further surprised to find that they came with docking stations, keyboards, mice and cases.
Being able to have devices like this, that we could then loan to students is a fantastic luxury and we will be setting these up and preparing them for just that. Thank you, British Engineering Services!” said Mr Andy Pilbury, Deputy Headteacher.
